I’m very excited about this project, an online newspaper that combines blog and news feed from across the web into a single, readable format. Of course, its interactive, and anyone can add or edit links. I will soon add custom styles, advertisements, and premium accounts.
This project was created with the Userfriendly CMS, and demonstrates its ease-of-use and flexibility. It's ready now, but in the future will include public profiles and message-boards, where users will be able to see each others articles, make comments, and add new-found links to their own accounts.
It has the potential to be very profitable. There is lots of empty space which can be filled in with keyword-specific advertising. Visitors will be charged a small fee for premium accounts. Finally, every link displayed can be dynamically modified to include an affiliate code, turning this into a live affiliate-marketing campaign.
Later, I will expand this into a social-network, where users can view each others’ profiles, share links, and choose from different CSS styles.
